Ventria Residence Limited (“VRL”, “we”, “our” or “us”), a limited liability company incorporated in Hong Kong, does not normally request any personal data through its website https://www.ventriaresidence.com/ (“VR Site”). Please read this Policy Statement carefully before you provide any personal data to VRL.

We respect your privacy and recognize our responsibilities in relation to the collection, holding, processing, use and/or transfer of personal data under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) (“Ordinance”). Personal data provided to us via this VR Site will be collected and retained only for lawful and relevant purposes, and we are committed to taking all practicable steps to ensure security of the personal data and to avoid unauthorized or accidental access or loss.

Purposes of Collection & Transfer of Personal Data

To make any enquiry or appointment through this VR Site, you may be asked to provide personal data, namely, your name, phone number and e-mail address to VRL on a voluntary basis so as to enable VRL to take appropriate steps for reviewing, processing and handling such enquiry or appointment or for serving any purposes directly relating to such enquiry or appointment, and for direct marketing purposes (as described in the section headed “Direct Marketing” of this Policy Statement) (“Purposes”).

Please ensure that you provide accurate and complete personal data to us and keep us updated on any changes to such personal data. If, however, you do not provide us with the information required or the information you provided is inaccurate or incomplete, your enquiry or appointment process will be affected and may become unsuccessful.

Please note that your personal data may be made available and transfer to the following parties as part of our review and handling procedures:

• Appropriate persons in VRL, including the manager appointed by VRL to manage Ventria Residence (“Manager”);
• Holding companies, subsidiaries, associated or affiliated companies of VRL and the Manager and their respective directors, officers, employees and other authorized representatives;
• VRL’s and the Manager’s business partners or service providers, including any third‑party host(s) or co‑host(s) of events organised at Ventria Residence; or
• Relevant government departments, regulators or competent authorities as permitted or required by applicable local or foreign laws, rules or legislations, codes of practice or guidelines of regulators, order of courts of competent jurisdiction and/or listing rules of recognized stock exchange.

Unless otherwise permitted by law, we will not use your personal data provided via VR Site for other unrelated purposes without your consent.

Direct Marketing

We intend to use your name, phone number and email address from time to time to provide marketing or promotional materials and conduct direct marketing activities in relation to the promotion of the following services, facilities and/or events, but we cannot so use your personal data without your consent:

(i) services, products, events and facilities relating to Ventria Club, Ventria Residence and/or Ventria Garden; and

(ii) services and products offered by service providers of Ventria Club, Ventria Residence and/or Ventria Garden, its operator or manager, and/or third-party host-or cohost of events to be held at Ventria Residence.

If you agree to the use of your personal data for direct marketing purposes as described above, please indicate your consent by ticking the designated box on the “Leave A Message” Form.

You may in future withdraw your consent to the use and provision of your personal data for direct marketing or promotional purposes. To do so, please inform us in writing by contacting our Data Protection Officer (see the “Access to and Correction of Personal Data” section below). We shall, without charge to you, ensure that you are not included in future direct marketing activities.

Access to and Correction of Personal Data

Under the Ordinance, you have the right to ascertain if we hold your personal data, to obtain a copy of the data, and to correct any data that is inaccurate. You may also request us to inform you of the type of personal data that we hold. Request for access to and/or correction of your personal data held by us should be addressed in writing to our Data Protection Officer by post to 17B Ventris Road, Happy Valley, Hong Kong or by email to info@ventriaresidence.com, using the Data Access Request Form which is issued by the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data and available at: https://www.pcpd.org.hk/english/resources_centre/publications/forms/files/Dforme.pdf.

We may charge a reasonable fee for complying with any data access request.
